During the Fall 2011 Semester of the Intro to American Studies 101 course taught by Professor Allan P. Isaac, students were required to analyze the history, significance, and changing meaning of an “ethnic site or monument” within their local community. Some examples include diners, meeting halls, churches, temples, and homes. The posts below include images and summaries of the short papers students had to turn in/ present as evidence of their research.
Enjoy!
