The Railroad tracks which run through Manville, New Jersey are a significant establishment with a very in depth history in regard to the town itself. The trains have been running through Manville since the late 1800’s and made Manville into much more of an industrialized town with a lot of productivity. Prior to the train tracks being placed and built in Manville, there wasn’t much occurring in the town. Manville was mostly farmland, as it was conjoined with Hillsborough as one town. However, after the trains and Johns-Manville Corporation came into play, the town began to grow and became independent, the first few steps in guiding the town to what it has become today.
