Monroe Hall (Monroe Union Chapel)/ Mark Hansen

Monroe Hall (Monroe Union Chapel)Originally having been established in 1715, Monroe Hall, previously knownas Monroe Union Chapel, evolved multiple times between a community centerof a no longer existing town and a Presbyterian church originally in 1894.It today lies in the town of Whippany, surrounded by a residential area,and is no longer a religious center. In 1970, it was bought by theTownship of Hanover as a local hall which can be rented out to variousorganizations, such as the Knights of Columbus who hold events andmeetings there.
