The Great Auditorium was originally built in 1875 as a meeting ground for ministers of the Methodist church, which could only accommodate 75 people. Today, the Great Auditorium can hold up to 6,500 people and is the size of a football field. The Great Auditorium is now used for religious gatherings, speeches, and entertainment. Theodore Roosevelt, Richard Nixon, Bill Cosby and Ray Charles have all presented at the Great Auditorium.
