The Italian-American Independent Club, Inc. of America was established in 1929 in Totowa, New Jersey. It is a club based on purposes of fraternalism, community, culture, and country. It currently has 150 members and meets twice a week to discuss Italian culture, community events, and participate in recreational games like card playing. To this day, the club still functions as a community center for those Italian immigrants that have come to America.
