The Ocean Grove Auditorium/ Jeffrey Niesz

The Ocean Grove Auditorium was erected in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, located in Neptune,New Jersey, as a Methodist camp meeting location in 1894. The structure was built in 1894to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of Ocean Grove in 1869. The Auditoriumwas also constructed to allow for more people to congregate and worship, because the threeprevious meeting places were too small. The Ocean Grove Auditorium has historically acted as a stronghold for Anglo-Saxon Methodist traditionalism in New Jersey attracting many religious figures and even Presidents like Theodore Roosevelt and Richard Nixon.
