The Roosevelt Synagogue/ Graham Lewis

The Roosevelt synagogue, built in Roosevelt, NJ, is the only house of worship in the town. It is a flat-roofed building, and shares this feature with all of the other original homes in Roosevelt. The synagogue was once an accepted and celebrated part of Roosevelt, but is now facing opposition from the residents of Roosevelt because of a decrease in Orthodox Jews. The lack of support for the synagogue is leading the house of worship towards inevitable failure.
