Trinity Episcopal “Old Swedes” Church/ Sarah Ong

Having had enough of crossing the river just to attend mass, the Trinity Episcopal “Old Swedes” Church in Swedesboro, New Jersey was finally founded in 1703 by early Swedish settlers along the Raccoon Creek. It was the first Swedish church in the state and is one of only eight remaining churches built by Swedes in the Delaware Valley.
